โœฆ Synopsis

Primary reticulum cell sarcoma of the uterine cervix was found a t autopsy in a 90-year-old woman. This is the third reported case of a patient with this disease i n whom autopsy examination was performed. Twenty reported instances of malignant lymphoma primary in the uterus were found in addition. I t appears from the small number of reports that patients with primary uterine lymphomas receiving therapy have a better prognosis than those with other uterine sarcomas, and may also have a better survival rate than patients with other extranodal lymphomas of similar histologic type. Radiation therapy alone or in combination with surgery has been the principal modality employed for primary uterine lymphomas.

Primary adrenal lymphoma (PAL) is extremely uncommon. We describe a case of clinically silent non-Hodgkin's B-cell lymphoma of diffuse large cell type with exclusive left adrenal localization. The tumor was discovered by computed tomography (CT) as a 2.5cm dense mass and diagnosed at autopsy. Litera
