β¦ Synopsis
The study of nuclei far from stability interacting with simple target nuclei, such as protons, deuterons, 3 He and 4 He implies the use of inverse kinematics. The very special kinematics, together with the low intensities of the beams calls for special techniques. Here some examples of the results and techniques used in elastic, inelastic scattering and transfer reactions will be described. Special target techniques and detectors that were developed or are under development in this domain will be described.

A kinematic chain with two inversions is a chain which can result in two nonisomorphic mechanisms by grounding every link of the chain. This paper presents a methodology for the synthesis of kinematic chains with two inversions. The characteristics of kinematic chains with two inversions are studied
## Abstract In this paper we show how the expensive, offline dynamic simulations of character motions can be approximated using the cheaper weighted inverse kinematics (WIK)βbased approach. We first show how a dynamicsβbased approach can be used to produce a motion that is representative of a real
## Abstract Rock moisture is an important factor for the intensity and distribution of frost weathering processes. However, quantitative measurements are scarce, which is partly due to the lack of reliable measurement techniques. This paper presents five different techniques for obtaining rock mois
We have studied collective properties of the unstable 88 Kr and 92 Kr nuclei using Coulomb excitation in inverse kinematics at the REX-ISOLDE facility at CERN. We present preliminary results for both nuclei and give a short discussion in the framework of valence mirror symmetry.
This paper examines the use of a micromachined resonating tube to measure both the dynamic viscosity and density of a fluid enabling the calculation of the kinematic viscosity. Dynamic viscosity is measured using the damping effect that a fluid has on the motion of the resonating tube. Fluid damping
