In this paper, a rigorous method-of-moments MoM solution is gi¨en for the problem of determining the hybrid HEM-mode resonant frequencies and associated quality factors of inhomogeneous ( ) dielectric bodies of re¨olution BORs . The body of interest may be placed in an arbitrarily stratified dielectric medium, including the case when it is bounded by one or two horizontal perfect electric conductor ( ) PEC plates. The general modal electric field integral equation is gi¨en, which is then specialized to sample geometry and sol¨ed numerically. A comparison of obtained data with results gi¨en by other authors is gi¨en.
