The Raman spectrum of the tetracyanoethylene-anisole EDA complex was measured using seven lines of an Ar laser. The excitation profiles for the TCNEC=C 2nd =N stretching vibrations have distinct maxima at the absorption maximum cf the high wavelength fl band. The depolarization ratios rise from about l/3 at the absorption maximum to much higher values between the two CT bands. Similar results are found for some anisole lines although only about 1% qf the anisole mokuks are complexed.
