✦ Synopsis
The development of the Journal has continued in 1972 along the expected lines. The approval of the Journal by the scientific community is indicated by the continuous increase in the number of manuscripts submitted (Fig. I ) and in the number of subscribers. A high scientific standard has continued to be the overruling criterion in selecting papers for publication, as well as in all editorial work.
Contributions from many different fields of cancer research carried on throughout the world have been published, as can be seen from Tables I andI[. No attempt has been made to emphasize any particular area of research. The number of papers dealing with various aspects of human cancer, however, has been on the increase, especially in the field of human tumor immunity.
