Abstract
In a recent comment by Çayören et al.[Microwave Opt Technol Lett 52 (2010), 246], it is claimed that formulation of the article by Tezel [Microwave Opt Technol Lett 50 (2008), 2768–2772] is not correct. In this reply, it is shown that well known electromagnetic boundary condition on dielectrics can be defined differently which leads to simplification of the problem and proves that the formulation of the article by Tezel is correct. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. ## Abstract In this study, a new and computational effective method related to electromagnetic scattering from arbitrary shaped dielectric objects is proposed. This method is based on Taylor series expansion of fields with unknown coefficients on the circles that are inside and outside of object. B
