β¦ Synopsis
The crux of the objections raised by M. K. Pandya and S. L. Solanki in their discussion seems confined to the authenticity and correctness of our record of stromatolitic structure in the metasediments, intimately associated with Pb-Zn ores, in Dariba mine, Rajasthan. These correspondents, as well as the field geologists of the Geological Survey of India and Hindustan Zinc Limited, have been working in the Dariba-Rajpura multimetal deposit for several years. Since none of them has so far been able to identify such structures in these metasediments their reactions to our publication are understandable.
