โฆ Synopsis
Using a system of two electronic timers ( E T 4 5 2 A ) , this paper records measurements of the striking and remaining velocities of bullets Jired through glass plates of various thicknesses. The lethal potentiality of a bullet after perforating a glass target is discrissedin relation to criminal investigation.

Through help of ultrasonic methods, the increase of crack velocity in glass plates which had been grooved on one side was measured. Thereby the range of 1 m/sec to 1500 m/sec was encompassed. This work deals with the characterization of composite material suitable for constructing structural parts devoted to dissipate kinetic energy during impacts. In particular glass-fiber-epoxy matrix laminates are considered, both with unidirectional layers and with woven layers stacking, with three d
