The rate constant k4 has been measured a t 268", 298", and 334°K for the reaction CH20 + 2 0 H -CO + 2H20 relative to that for OH + OH ( k 2 ) by competition experiments in a discharge flow tube using mass-spectrometric analysis. Based on k2 = 2.24 X lO-l2cm3/ moleesec a t 298°K and E P = 4 kJ/mol,
