## Abstract The objective was to develop a population pharmacokineticβpharmacodynamic model of caffeine's psychomotor effects in healthy, nonβhabitual users of caffeine. Twenty Chinese males each received a single dose of 250βmg of caffeine orally. Plasma concentrations of caffeine were determined

β¦ Synopsis
The relationship between dose and bioavailability of propranolol was determined in 12 healthy male subjects. The doses employed were 10, 40, 80 or 160mg of propanolol HCI given three times daily for 4 days. Daily minimum plasma levels showed that there was no accumulation of the drug. In all subjects, non-linear relationships were observed between peak plasma level, or area under the plasma concentration-time curve, and dose. The between subject variation of these parameters was not dose related.

Dose dependency of the pharmacokinetics of buspirone, a new anxiolytic agent, was tested in 24 healthy volunteers. Each subject received 10, 20, and 40 mg doses according to a randomized, three-way crossover design with a 7-day interval between treatments. Buspirone AUC values at 10, 20, and 40 mg d
## Abstract The pharmacokinetics of reboxetine, a new antidepressant agent, were found to be close to linear in a crossover study comparing administration of single 2, 3, 4 and 5 mg capsule doses in 15 healthy male volunteers, and in the same study the capsules were bioequivalent to the proposed th
## Abstract Acute administration of the stimulant dextroβamphetamine produces multiple physiological, subjective cognitive and biochemical changes. These effects are similar to those seen in mania, and may be a useful model for mania. The aim of the present study was more fully to determine the mul
