โฆ Synopsis
A convenient, regio-selective synthesis of novel 1-tert-butyl-4-nitro-1H-pyrrole-3-carboxylic acid was developed, utilizing the bulky tert-butyl moiety of 1-tert-butyl-1H-pyrrole to direct selective, un-symmetrical substitutions to the desired 3 and 4 positions.
