Regio-and stereoselective formation of the finctionalized gem-dt@orocyclopropane derivative was achieved through the Michael aakiition of lithium enolate of ester or amide with 4bromo-4.4-difluorocrotonate I followed by the triethylborane-02 mediated intramolecular substihction reaction.
