โœฆ Synopsis

The title compound, C 8 H 12 O 8 Si, previously reported by Kamenar & Bruvo [Z. Kristallogr. (1975). 141, 97ยฑ103], has been rereยฎned against new intensity data. Geometric parameters agree quite well. However, our results are of signiยฎcantly higher precision. The Si atom is located on a special position of site symmetry 4.

The title compound, (C~19~H~18~P)~2~[ReCl~6~], has been prepared by a new method and its structure redetermined [Hoล‚ynska, Korabik & Lis (2006). __Acta Cryst__. E62, m3178โ€“m3180]. The previously observed orientational disorder of the [ReCl~6~]^2โˆ’^ anion (Re site symmetry \overline{1}) is reinterpret
