Study design
We studied 10 healthy adult volunteers, aged 26 to 55 years, 5 male and 5 female. All gave written informed consent and completed the study, which was approved by the local medical ethics committee. They were interviewed by a physician and were all found to be healthy, especially with respect to the gastrointestinal tract. Their weights ranged between 56 and 85 kg, and their heights between 160 and 184 cm. None of them abused drugs or alcohol and fatty suppository was compared with a solution of 60 mg/ml paracet'arnol.
