Trifluoromethyl isocyanide complexes / Carbene complexes / Chromium complexes Reactions of Pentacarbonyl(trifluoromethy1 isocyanide)chromium with Nucleophiles Pentacarbonyl(trifluoromethy1 isocyanide)chromium (1) reacts which is further attacked by the nucleophile. The isolated with nucleophilic reagents like secondary amines (2a-d), 1,2-products are carbene complexes of the type (CO)&rdimethylhydrazine (2e), or methanol (2f).
