Reactions of Methyl Thiocyanate with Diacyl Dichlorides

Diacyl dichlorides react with methyl thiocyanate in the presence of SbCl~5~ to give dicationic bis(1,3,5‐oxadiazinium) salts 1. Hydrolysis of 1 yields derivatives of N,N′‐bis[(methyl‐thiocarbonyl)carbamoyl] diamides 2.
