✦ Synopsis

Experimental determinations of reactivity ratios for heterogeneous copolymerizations are highly dependent upon experimental conditions such as different solubilities and composition drift of the comonomers due to their different reactivities. An integrated form of the copolpnerization equation is proposed to accommodate these variations. Experimental conditions are discussed to obtain more accurate values of reactivity ratios taking gas phase ethylene/propylene copolymerization as an example.

## Abstract The present study reports values of reactivity ratios for ethylene/1‐hexene, ethylene/1‐octene and ethylene/1‐decene copolymerizations promoted by C~2~H~4~[Ind]~2~ZrCl~2~/MAO. The comonomer reactivities are markedly influenced by the number of carbon atoms of the α‐olefin. The ethylene/
