## Abstract A novel protocol for the fast and efficient reductive amination of carbonyl compounds (25 examples) is developed that is comparable with various reducible functional groups such as NO~2~β and CNβgroups as well as C=C double bonds.
A solvent-free reductive amination of carbonyl compounds by wet montmorillonite K 10 clay supported sodium borohydride is described; microwave irradiation facilitates the procedure.
## Abstract The title reaction can also be carried out in THF at 25 Β°C with comparable yields.
