## Abstract Advanced glycation endproducts (AGEs) accumulate on protein deposits including the β‐amyloid plaques in Alzheimer's disease. AGEs interact with the β€œreceptor for advanced glycation endproducts”, and transmit their signals using intracellular reactive oxygen species as second messengers.
