## Abstract Reaction of 1โ€chloromethylโ€4,5โ€dichloropyridazinโ€6โ€one with some nucleophiles such as sodium methoxide, sodium azide, 2โ€mercaptopyrimidine and phenol gave 2, 3, 4, 7, 8 and 10. 5โ€Chloroโ€4โ€phenoxypyridazinโ€6โ€one (10) was also synthesized from 8 through 9.
