โฆ Synopsis
Fluorosulfuryl isocyanate has been found to react with HgF2 and CdF2 in CH3CN solution to form the fluoroformylfluorosulfurylimide salts, Hg[N(S02F)C(0)F]2.X CH3CN (X = 1,2) and Cd[N(S02F)C(0)F-J2.2 CH3CN. The reaction with CdF 2 was incomplete, and no detectable reaction occurred with ZnF 2' HgCN(S02F)C(0)F]2 reacted with Cd2 to produce mainly COF2, FS02NCL2, and HgCC2. With CF3C(O)CG, the products CF3C(O)F, FS02NC0, and, possibly, Hg[N(S02F)C(0)F]CL were formed.
