The efficacy of bopindolol and atenolol in the treatment of patients with chronic stable angina pectoris have been compared in a double blind, randomized study. Both bopindolol 1 mg and atenolol 100 mg for 6 weeks increased mean exercise time (25% and 22%, respectively, compared to placebo), time to
