Raman spectroscopy and ultraviolet resonance Raman spectroscopy are versatile methods for probing details of protein structure and dynamics in complex biological assemblies, including viruses. The information contained in the Raman spectrum of a virus is ordinarily interpreted on the basis of an und

β¦ Synopsis
Vibrational modes are assigned to the Raman bands of 1-and 2-methylimidazole. Assignments are based on a review of the literature assignments of imidazole, 1-methylimidazole and 4(5)-methylimidazole supplemented by Raman depolarization studies of 1.0 M solutions of 1-and 2-methylimidazole. Raman shifts observed for Ndeuteration of 2-methylimidazole are also considered.

The Raman spectrum (3500-30 cm -1 ) of liquid 1-chloro-1-methylsilacyclobutane, c-C 3 H 6 SiCl(CH 3 ), was recorded and quantitative depolarization values were obtained. Additionally, the infrared (3500-40 cm -1 ) spectra of the gas and solid were recorded. Both the axial and equatorial (with respec
The Raman spectra from 3100 to 10 cm-1 of the gaseous, liquid and solid phases and the infrared spectra from 3100 to 30 cm-1 of the vapour and solid phases of Γuoromethyl phosphonothioic dichloride, were FCH 2 P(S)Cl 2 , recorded. The spectral data were interpreted on the basis of a conformational e
Microwave conductivity and Raman spectroscopy were applied to study the influence of light and thermal annealing on porous TiO 2 properties. Microwave absorption in porous TiO 2 (anatase) showed an anomalous behaviour in the presence of light excitation (at 514 nm, i.e. below, or 356 nm, i.e. above
The Raman and ir spectra of a murine IgG2a monoclonal antibody molecule are reported. In accordance with previous studies on immunoglobulins, the secondary structure is predominantly of the β€-sheet type. The low frequency region of the Raman spectrum was also analyzed in detail.
