## Oblique Phonons in Raman Scattering and IR Reflection of TeOZ Crystal The Raman scattering and IR reflectivity have been investigated for different crystal configurations. The contours of reflectivity spectra have been calculated. The angle dependence of polar vibrational modes in both reflecti

It is shown that the excitation profiles of the various Stokes vibrational transitions show the same nodal structure as the initial wavefunctions of the continuum resonance Raman scattering process and hence indicate a reflection principle derived earlier theoretically by others. We study the resonance Ramnn scattering tensor with a model based on a displaced harmonic oscillator. It is shown that when the lines of the absorption spectrum are broadened, the Raman excitation profiks are determined by the formulas of the reflection approximation.
