## Abstract Our previous study showed that aspirin induced apoptosis of esophageal cancer cells __in vitro__ by inhibiting the pathway of NF‐kappaB downstream regulation of cyclooxygenase‐2. The purpose of this study was to determine if similar changes occurred __in vivo__ in the tumors of patients
