✦ Synopsis

The polymerization of N-vinylcaprolactam in toluene, dioxane, chlorobeneene, dimethylformamide, and ethylene carbonate with various peroxides, perbenzoates and azobisisobutyronitrile as initiators at 60-8OoC, was studied. Under these conditions azobisisobutyronitrile and terkbutyl perbenzoate have satisfactory activity as initiators. Under these conditions N-vinylcaprolactam polymerization in homogeneous solution is f h t order towards the monomer and 0.5 order towards the initiators.

The free-radical polymerization of styrene has been studied in the homogeneous phase of supercritical (sc) CO 2 at 80 8C and pressures between 200 and 1 500 bar. 2,29-Azobisisobutyronitrile is used as initiator and CBr 4 as chain-transfer agent. The polymerization is monitored by means of online FT-

## Abstract The overlap concentration of poly(__N__‐vinylcaprolactam)s (PVCLs) of low molecular weights was studied with dynamic and static methods (with viscosity and refractive‐index measurements) at three temperatures (25, 30, and 35°C). This concentration, determined by viscometry, was lower th

## Abstract The specific features of free‐radical polymerization of methyl methacrylate in the presence of a new initiating system, benzoyl peroxide‐__N,N__‐dimethyl‐__N__‐(methylferrocenyl)amine, are studied. Mutual influence of ferrocenyl‐ and amine groups on kinetic parameters of polymerization
