✦ Synopsis

This paper describes the application of the complex image concept to the ( ) quasi-TEM analysis of multiconductor coplanar waveguides CPW . Some troubles that arise when this technique is applied to conductor backed structures are addressed and solved. A Galerkin scheme is used to solve the integral equation for the slot electric field in a very efficient manner: The employed basis functions account for edge singularities-so that the Galerkin matrix size is kept small-and lead to quasianalytical expressions for the matrix entries. In this way, we have developed a very fast quasistatic solver for arbitrary CPW geometries that is suitable for CAD purposes.

Image theory has been applied to calculate the electromagnetic fields scattered from a pe$ectly conducting, infinitely long, finned cylinder. Detailed analysis shows that the fields diffracted from the curved wedge of the geometry can be equiuatent to the sum of two groups of creeping waves propagat

This study describes a method for flow cytometric (FCM) identification and analysis of eosinophils (EOS) in mixed granulocyte populations without the need of further cell purification. Granulocytes were prepared from 10 ml blood samples obtained from 14 non-atopic healthy subjects and 16 hypereosino
