We obtain expressions for thermal conductivity and ultrasonic attenuation coefficient in unconventional superconductors in the vortex state in the vicinity of B = H i(T~ where B is the magnetic induction and H i c2 c2(T) is the upper critical field when ~ is parallel to the crystal axis i.
New data and analysis show that the Hall conductivity O'xy of cuprate superconductors consists of two additive contributions: a quasiparticle excitation term and a vortex motion term. Competition between the two leads to a sign reversal in YBCO but not in LSCO, where they both have the same sign.
For analyzing the checker-board like modulation of the local density of states (LDOS) around a vortex observed in the slightly overdoped Bi 2 Sr 2 CaCu 2 O x , we examined the effect of pseudogap state of high-T c superconductors to the LDOS around the vortex. We first derived the Bogoliubov-de Genn
Making use of the Bogoliubov-de Gennes equation, we have investigated the quasi-particle spectrum of f-wave (รฐp x AE ip y ร cosรฐck z ร) superconductors around a single vortex. In contrast to the p-wave superconductors, the bound state of the vortex with winding number )1, in which the bound states d
