✦ Synopsis
Abstract
In this article, a 34‐GHz substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) quasi‐elliptic filter fabricated in PCB is presented. The filter consists of one SIW cavity and four coupling metallic circular post. It is found that the filter can deliver a simulated bandwidth of 600 MHz, centered at 34 GHz with an insertion loss of 1 dB, with two transmission zeros at each side of the passband. The good agreement between the simulated and measured results is presented at the end of this article. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
