β¦ Synopsis
A study of photoenhanced currents {PECf in crystatline tetracene has been made. Using the well+stabiished theoF of space-charge controlled currents in insulators, it is shown that the quantum yield for the release of trapped carriers by triplet esfitbns is less thzm unity.

Measurements of the fluoresosnce lifetime of solid benzene (= 83.7 nscat -100Β°C) indic7ate that the limiting low temperature quantum yield of fluorescence is 0.22.
