The Neu-Laxova syndrome was diagnosed in a fetus at 34 weeks' gestation on the basis of ultrasonographic qualitative analysis of fetal movement patterns and malformations. The first ultrasound study was performed at 34 weeks' gestation and a dead 960g female fetus was delivered at 36 weeks' gestation.
