## Abstract Heat treatment of nylon 6,6 in the temperature range of 100โ€“175ยฐC in the presence and absence of a nonionic surfactant (Triton Xโ€100) had little effect on the physical properties of the nylon, although the density of the nylon increased with increasing heat treatment temperature.
