The strong-field molecular dynamics is studied by direct numerical integration of the non-stationary Schroedinger equation for laser pulses of femtosecond duration. The calculations are performed beyond the Born-Oppenheimer approximation with both electronic and rotational degrees of freedom being t

β¦ Synopsis
It is shown that pulsed-field-ionization (PFI) spectroscopy using usual MPI apparatus without any magnetic shielding gives the spectra of molecular cations comparable to those obtained by ZEKE spectroscopy which requires a thorough magnetic shielding. The electrons detected by PFI spectroscopy were proved to come from very high Rydberg states of a neutral molecule near the convergence limit. The potential of PFI spectroscopy for the study of the vibrational structures of cations is demonstrated for the cations of DABCO, 1,2,4,5_tetrafluorobenzene and m-fluorotoluene.

Theoretical questions of NMR spin echo attenuation due to diffusion in fractal systems are examined. The mean-square displacement of anomalous diffusion depends sublinearly on time. Therefore, this stochastic process is not invariant against time translation. The correct adjustment of the time scale
