Astrid Amundsen is back, and again sheβs serving under Captain Wayne Banning!
In Proximity Warning, Astrid and her people board the wreckage of a small spacecraft. Itβs inhabited by a dying alien whom a powerful enemy has left to suffer the effects of the cold vacuum of space.
After being nursed back to health, the newfound friend seeks help in recovering several compact weapons that are capable of rendering whole planets uninhabitable. Also, she claims to know the locations of hundreds of portals.
Will Amundsenβs group be able to recover the weapons, and perhaps use them and the knowledge of portals against the enemy?
Or will something different happen? Will the whole episode be one which Astrid will forever regret becoming involved in?
