## Abstract Spin–lattice relaxation times (__T__~1~) of water protons and cross‐relaxation times (__T__~IS~) between irradiated protein and water protons were measured to study the water structure in peritumoral edematous brain tissue of rats. Despite small changes in __T__~1~, water, and electroly
