Phosphoenolpyruvate carboxykinase (PEPCK) was purified 600-fold to homogeneity from the cotyledons of cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.) and a polyclonal antiserum raised. After sodium dodecyl sulfate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE) the purified preparation contained a single polypeptide of
