✦ Synopsis

The unperturbed dimensions and thermodynamic parameters of poly(vinylpyrrolidone) (PVP) have been studied in aqueous salt solutions, e.g. phosphates, mono-and dihydrogen phosphates, carbonates, sulphates of sodium and potassium. Values of where is intrinsic viscosity at

Values of the characteristic ratio, the steric C n , parameter, p, and the enthalpy and the entropy of dilution parameters, and s H have also been calculated, and the interaction parameter was found to be s S , s [ 0É5 \ [0É001 for aqueous salt solutions of PVP.

The effect of adding acetylated poly(propyleneimine) dendrimers to the structure and rheology of aqueous solutions of high molecular weight poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO) was investigated by rheology and small-angle neutron scattering in a temperature range of 10 -40 °C. In the semidilute regime, the st
