The FDTD method is applied for the theoretical analysis of a new pulse-forming optoelectronic de¨ice. Because of a capaciti¨e structure, a photoconducti¨e pulse characterized by a fast rise and a long tail, is deri¨ed and pro¨ides an ultrashort electrical pulse.
