โฆ Synopsis
B~haViOr of europium towards ealcium [ I a] : Extensive mixed crystal formation occurs in the system Ca/Eu. The lattices are face-centered from 0 t o about 55 atom-',: of Eu, and body-centered from about 60 t o 100 atom-% of Eu. The miscibility gap for samples obtained by rapid cooling of the melt is only a few atoms percent. The variation of the lattice constants of the mixed crystals with a high Eu content roughly

At least three kinds of stable paramagnetic species are formed in films of poly(triphenylcarbinol) 1 upon thermolysis in vacuo up to 500ยฐC. "Low temperature" radicals of triarylmethyl type (RTAMT1) are created in the 120 f 220ยฐC temperature region. These radicals give rise to a symmetric ESR signal
