FRESH Chesapeake oysters were frozen, ground, and fed to albino rats. The experiment showed that oysters are a good source of vitamins A, B, and D. Two grams (0.32 gram on a dry basis) of oysters furnished sufficient vitamin A to cure rats of xerophthalmia. Tests made by the curative method showed
