A supported liquid membrane system was developed for the extraction of ethanol during semicontinuous fermentation of Saccharomyces bayanus. It consisted of a porous Teflon sheet as support, soaked with isotridecanol. This assembly permitted combining biocompatibility, permeation efficiency, and stab
