The rat tutnour RBI, previously induced by injection of fowl sarcomu B77 tissue into newborn rats, was adapted to long-term growth in tissue culture. Two cell lines, 168177 and 176177, were derived fiom the tumour. Both cell lines were capable of continuous production aiid release of infectious 877
