β¦ Synopsis
Molecular sieve membranes consisting of NaA zeolite crystals have been successfully synthesized on symbol a-Al 2 O 3 substrate by means of microwave heating. In this way, the reaction time is greatly reduced to only 15-20 min and the membranes obtained are very stable and dense. Moreover, the thickness of the membranes can be easily controlled by varying the amount of the reaction mixture. To study the formation process of the membranes, the samples in various reaction stages have been characterized by field emission scanning electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction.

## Abstract The paper presented novel synthesis of NaA zeolite membrane with good performance using microwave heating. The method involved two steps, prior seeding 120 nm of LTA crystals on substrate and then employing a secondary hydrothermal synthesis. Effects of seeding times, synthesis time and
A novel method is proposed for the preparation of zeolite coatings on substrates, which suppresses the reaction in the bulk and promotes that on the substrate by applying a temperature difference between the reaction mixture and the substrate. The substrate is heated directly, with a soldering resis
