โœฆ Synopsis


YBCO films were prepared on YSZ and Ag substrates by the diffusion reaction of two-layer structures of a Y2BaCuO5 (211) film and a 3BaCO3+5CuO (035) or 3BaCO3+7CuO (037) film with silver doping formed by the dipping pyrolysis process using metal naphthenates as starting materials. The heat treatment of the two layer precursor films at 770ยฐC in 3x10 -4 atm yields YBCO films highly oriented toward the c-axis; a comparatively sharp superconducting transition of Tc onset=89-90k was observed for films with (Ag/YBCO) molar ratio of 0.15-0.60. The critical current densities (77K, 0T) of 1-3 micron thick product films on YSZ and Ag substrates were 2300A/cm 2 and 20,000A/cm 2 respectively.
