✦ Synopsis

A novel symmetrical dendrimer monomer was synthesized from tris(hydroxymethyl)aminomethane (Tris) and repeatedly coupled to a core-shell type resin. The loading capacity of amino groups was increased up to 4.0 mmol g -1 resin by the dendrimerization process. The high loading dendrimer-grafted resin produced was successfully applied to solid-phase peptide synthesis (SPPS).
