33 [ PI Potassiunj3peroxydiphosphate (PDP) was prepared by the electrochemical oxidation of [ PI orthophosphate in alkaline solution. After purification by repeated crystallization from queous methanol, 5$" radiochemical purity of the final product was 96.5% [ PI PDP and 3.5% [ PI orthophosphate. Overall radiochemical yield was 81%; electrochemical yield was 40%.
