Preparation and Crystal Structure of the Ternary Carbides Ln 12 Os 5 C 15 with Ln: Y, Pr, Nd, Sm, Gd-Tm. -The title compounds are prepared by arc melting of the elements and subsequent annealing (evacuated silica tube, 1000 • C, 1 month). They crystallize in the hexagonal La 12 Re 5 C 15 type struc
