✦ Synopsis


We report the study of the CaLaBaCu 2:80 (PO 4 ) 0:20 O 6:20 compound which is a superconductor with critical temperature of 90 K. This compound was prepared by the solid state reaction method under normal conditions of pressure and temperature, replacing 0.2 of the oxianion phosphate (PO 4 ) Γ€3 in the Copper site of CaLaBaCu 3 O 7Γ€d (La-1113). T c was determined by measurement of magnetic susceptibility by using a SQUID detection system. The X-ray difractogram revealed the BaCuO 2 as extra phase, the Rietveld analysis sugested an orthorhombic crystalline structure belonging to the Pmmm spatial group with a ΒΌ 3:849 A, b ΒΌ 3:880 A and c ΒΌ 11:630 A.
