A spray-drying method was applied to the recrystallization of phenylbutazone, and the resulting samples were examined by X-ray powder diffractometry, differential thermal analysis, IR spectrophotometry, scanning electron microscopy, and hot-stage photomicroscopy. Three different crystalline forms (
