✦ Synopsis

Preface -Geometric modeling and processing Geometric Modeling and Processing (GMP) is a biennial international conference on geometric modeling and computing. The fifth GMP conference took place in April 2008 in Hangzhou, China. The conference received 117 paper submissions, of which 34 regular papers and 17 short papers were selected for presentation at the conference. The selected papers appeared in proceedings published by Springer as volume 4975 of Lecture Notes in Computer Science.
